There's actually a nice, little story, of how this art form came into being. It goes all the way back to Art College,

it involves Life Modeling Class, Student Art Shows, what's called 'The Greek Golden Age', LGBTQIA+ artists, and friends I met along the way, aaand well...

What I often say to people I meet;

 

"Why Classical Art?"

 

Well, because in Ancient Greece, there did not exist the plight we face today. Because, well, things like Marriage Equality, one's own personal sexuality/ life-style choices, etc., etc., etc., it just simply wasn't an issue. There existed Universal Acceptance throughout society as a whole. (And that, in itself, is essentially an Artist Statement entirely in it's own.)

"Will you be making more larger male nude sculptures?"

Yes.

When I have more free time to do so. I most certainly will. But unfortunately, things are a bit busy at the moment...
